oooopsie.....:blush:

I am a turbine guy but I have a piston twin. Today was the first time that I actually feathered the engine and shut it down (on the ramp)....DOH!

I was freaking out trying to remember why I might not be able to unfeather it at startup because I remember SOMETHING from Flight Safety about having a mechanic unfeather it (just can't remember what), but oh well, it came out of feather and all was well (I guess, anyway).

Chalk that one up to stooopidity....
 
...no biggie...

now if you forgot the landing gear.....

...and when you do find the trim, you'll always turn it the wrong way on the first try. I still did on my Cherokee 140 after my 5th year of ownership!

You're an FO on a Dash & can afford a piston twin? The pay must have gone up a bit since I flew it!

Sorry, I thought the statement was pretty clear....I joined this forum many years ago when I WAS an FO (hence the username). Not an FO anymore.
 
Were you at BJC? I saw a Aero Commander sitting on a taxi way with one engine shutting down, feather and then attempted a restart? Just curious.
