Does anybody know what the requirements are for a Multi-Engine Private Pilot to go to a Multi-Commercial License?

I currently have a Commercial Single Engine, CFI, CFII ratings and a Multi-Engine limited to Private Privilages (No instrument).

When I go for my Multi Commercial can I do my MEI at the same time?

It seems to me that you are adding an additional class ( Multi-engine) to your commercial pilot certificate. This is covered in 61.63c.

In a nutshell, while you do not need a specified amount of hours, you do need logbook endorsements that you have received training in commercial multi-engine ops and that you are prepared for a practical test. You do not need to take a written but do need to take a practical test.

What he said. You will most likely need the 3 hours of training in the past 60 days.

Comparing the PTS' side to side, looks like the only difference between private AMEL PTS maneuvers and commercial AMEL PTS maneuvers is that you will have to do steep turns, high altitude operations (which you probably covered on your Comm ASEL checkride) and the instrument approaches which you will need for instrument privledges. That includes a normal approach, an approach with one engine simulated inop, and a simulated engine failure under the hood.

You will probably be able to combine this commercial multi add-on rating with your MEI checkride. It'll basically be two different checkrides in one, but there are some areas that overlap. Just make sure you have the 15 PIC multi required for the MEI. It all depends on the examiner though if they will do that. More than likely they will charge you for two checkrides.

Good luck.
