B/CA had an article about the MU-2 in the last issue. Their conclusion was it is a good airplane but should be flown by experienced pilots with good training, along with good maintenance. They compared it to the Lear 23.

I have always thought the MU-2 was a cool airplane, and I've wondered what the deal was with it. Any MU-2 pilots read the article, and what is your reaction?

It was a very well written article.

What I liked most about it is that BCA listened to both sides, without opinion, then went out and flew the thing to see for themselves.

I also liked that they undermined the "experts" testimony on the issue, when these self proclaimed expert industry witnesses tried to justify their position with nonsensical reasoning.
They tried to make it sound like the MU2 will kill you if you do this or that, but failed to mention that any airplane could get you in trouble if you performed a certain maneuver.

I'm dissappointed that a congressman (Tancredo) would base his entire witchhunt on one expert's opionion, one who has 0 time or experience in the airplane; one who refused to do what BCA did before publicly speaking about the issue!

Well done, BCA.
