Hey everyone,
I live in Minneapolis and the company I work for doesn't have a base here so I'm on my own for parking. Just curious if anyone else in my situation has come up with anything affordable. I'm sure there have to be employee lots that I could get into but can't find any phone numbers or locations. Pretty sure there are a handful of SW guys that make the commute to Chicago, but haven't had any in the jumpseat for a while...
Thanks!

call MAC landside operations, $37.00 per month in humphry ramp, must do direct pay from bank account or credit card, if your airline doesn't serve MSP they may not alloww you to park.

other options

I have had good luck with the hotel where we overnight. You say no base of operations, but does your company fly to MSP. If so, you can do the pay to park at the humphrey, if not I would look at the light rail a monthly charge or park at the fort snelling park and ride. I think for the trip to the airport it is only 50 or 75 cents each way from there and it is free to travel between the terminals. PM me if you need help with any of the above....Good luck

Thanks everyone for the info.

I have tried taking the light rail downtown and caught a city bus out towards home. The problem was finding someone to pick me up at the bus stop or finding a cab to get the last several miles home. The off airport parking areas I looked at were either only for short term parking or well over a hundred bucks to lease for the whole month. I'll have to look into some other parking options along the light rail route.

I was however able to reach the people over at landside and sounds very promising. They said bring in a credit card and company id and they would see what we could work out. Getting back into MSP Friday morning, plan to sign up if I can.

Thanks Again!

make sure you have an hour or so for this process. You will have to go inside security and then drive over to the humphrey terminal to get processed and try out your transponder. It's kind of silly, but you know the government
