A pilot, like eveybody else in the Air Force, will move about once every three years.

One minor correction to Toro's reply:

It is common, and expected, for officers to move about every three years.

However, in many enlisted career fields, it is possible to "homestead". I've known some guys who have spent a decade or more at the same base.

Obviously, Air Force pilots fall into the officer category and will almost assuredly move about every three years.
