Herb Kelleher, Southwest Airlines, Retired-- liked by management, employees, labor unions, and the public. Simple approach and stick with it.

Ok, I give up, I made a mispelling but Crandall was the best CEO of an airline in modern times. You may not think B scale was a great solution to a problem, but business people think so.
