I read a funny letter to the editor in one of the aviation rags last month. Basically, the person wrote in to complain that he has never seen an airliner land on the numbers, ever. He basically called airline guys lazy for landing long every time. I couldn't decide to write back and call the guy an idiot, or laugh.
