Alright guys, have a questiong regarding the 400-1, 200-1/2 rule. If you use the 200-1/2 rule, you take the highest mins of the two approaches used...so does that mean if you have two approaches, one with DH 400', Vis 1/2 mile, and another approach with DH 200' Vis 1 mile, do you need to add the 200' to the DH 400' approach and the 1/2mile to the Vis 1 mile approach?????

Look at your op specs. You take the higher mins for one of the app's, not split them. You are not shooting the app to each runway.

Are you sure about that?

I copied this from Doc's website. It was his answer.

"If you have two navaids, two DIFFERENT SUITABLE runways, and a STRAIGHT-IN approach to each, then you may add 200 feet to the higher HAT of the two approaches and 1/2 mile to the higher visibility of the two approaches."
