Sorry if these have already been posted elsewhere, but would appreciate knowing the contract mins for days off on reserve for the above companies from anyone who has this information.
Also, whether there are any commuter clauses/contract protection for commuters.
Thanks

Please tell me you are NOT deciding on where to work based on min Resv days off...

RAH-

11 days off on reserve, and 12 for lineholders (I think.) We have a commuter clause and no junior manning!

Mesa: 8 per 28 day bid period = 9/month - 3 days JRA = 6 days off per month (reserve cannot dodge JRA since they have to answer their phone on duty).

SKW: 10 per month (reserve staffing levels are very low, so you'll be on reserve for weeks, not months).

yeah, until you upgrade and are stuck with only 10 off. Kool-aid I tell you, Kool-aid!!!!

No, but noone has a base where I live so I am looking at how often I am likely to get home. Most people say choose on the basis of no commuting.

Thanks to those who replied.

Thanks again to those who replied. Anyone from ASA out there?
Forgot about junior manning. Presumably if you are junior manned on a day off, they give you another day in lieu?

Does ASA still only have 4 "Golden Days Off"? That plays a big part in QOL when they can move 3 blocks of 2 days at will.
Not a slam, just a consideration.

This is still the case. You will know for sure about 4 days of the month. The rest are at the whim of a madman. I hope that the reserve system is something that will be fixed once our long awaited contract is settled. If reserve is done right, it sometimes goes senior, certainly not the case with our current setup.

depends on the airline.......at skywest, flying on your day off is a voluntary thing. no junior manning, period.......

some airlines have language in the contract that says they can only junior man you so many times a month. In most of these cases, they will not give you another day off.

some airlines will restore your day off, as well has have a hard limit on the number of times they can junior man you.

for Gorditas re ASA

Is that 4 days a row that are fixed or just any grouping that could be 4 single days?
