this is kind of apart from the pax side of the 135 business, i'm flying 135 cargo. But any aspiring pilots, unless you have a good hookup at a major or fractional like netjets or something, stay away from shady 135 companies that have a bad rep. The management at companies do not give a crap about your plastic card and paper slip in your wallet, they will try to abuse your hard work for the company and use it to their advantage. It's a sad day in time when it seems like all the pilots who love to fly to for a living are getting bent over by micro-manager hippy kids.
