This benefit may be used for degree and certificate programs, flight training, apprenticeship/on-the-job training and correspondence courses. Remedial, deficiency, and refresher courses may be approved under certain circumstances. Generally, benefits are payable for 10 years following your release from active duty. Im sorry, I meant to say because this guys no longer has the Gi Bill, he won't get anything from the VA. If you still have your benifits, you can use the GI bill to pay for flight training at a VA approved school
Thanks for all the replies. I figured it was a shot in the dark.
Jim I will keep the rehab thing in mind. I will be retiring with 20-30% or more I would think. I have a plate and some screws holding my ankle together. Plus a few other things. If you don't mind me asking how hard is it to get the required 30% for retraining? Anything I can do to make it smoother? Feel free to PM or E-mail me on that. Thanks
