BASE pay
additions include BAS (70-100) BAH (location dependent/basically median price rent of the local area/pay grade dependent), Flight pay (210-840/dependent on # of years) ... numbers are rough

In other words, you're taking home the exact amount listed for your pay grade PLUS additions. Am I looking at it correctly?

All pay amounts you'll see in those tables are pre-tax (gross) amounts.

Base pay and special pay (flight pay, dental & medical pay, etc) are taxable.

Allowances (BAS, BAH, VHA) are not taxable.

Good luck with your service, and thank you.
