I don't know if this has been talked about before, but I was wondering about training contracts with civilian companies. If I signed a 1 year training agreement with a company, and then left for the OTS at about the 4 month mark, what would happen to that contract? Does the remainder of the contract just run out while i'm Active duty in the military, or does it just pick up where I left off, when I return? Or do they have the right to make me buy my way out? It's a reserve slot i've going to be getting into.

Thanks

They have to treat you like you never left. www.esgr.org has lots of good info on the law as it pertains to reservists.
