Hey folks,

What's this I hear about Midwest Connect (ex-Skyway) having recalled all furloughed pilots and conducting interviews for more this and next week?

That's pretty big news, if it is true.

Someone reading this knows the truth - please spill the beans!

Very true...interviews are already occurring. Possibly hiring 10-20 within the next few months...all furloughed pilots have been offered a return class date of Sept. 8, and about 6 new hires will also be included in that class. All of this is due to previous short staffing, attrition, and aircraft utilization increasing over the coming months.

Thanks for the confirmation, cpt190.

Is the aircraft utilization increase a function of taking over Midwest traffic at Madison and Appleton, or is there something else in the works?

I heard that some of the recalled pilots are being told to expect an upgrade in the 1900 (or right seat in the jet) in 10 months time! Wow. That points to some pretty serious growth, wouldn't you say?

Have you heard the Frontier or Emb-170 gossip I alluded to?

Anyone else want to chime in?

Contact info on Midwest Connect?

I can't find any info on pilot application procedure. Nothing is available on-line and no fax is listed. Anyone have any info?

How is life at Midwest Connect? What are your schedules like? days off? how many legs a day? What is starting out pay? Is anyone getting hired into the jet? Another Beech driver trying to find a way to get closer to home
