I heard that Midatlantic's training was cancelled. Apparently the FAA was sitting in and cancelled it on day 2 because the instructors knew nothing about aircraft systems.

ouch. Those guys cannot get a break.

Bye Bye--General Lee:rolleyes: :(

Tough break if true - I feel sorry for the USAirways guys who just want to get back in the air... My understanding is that Embraer has a lot of work to do on its manuals - better translation from Portugeus to English is needed. I have a friend who couldn't understand the Brasilia manuals at all. Any guys out there have problems with the 145/135 manuals?

Surprising that Embraer and Honeywell would be so far behind the training curve for this aircraft...

They should go to FlightSafety STL: really know their stuff!!

The airplane that was in PIT about 3 weeks ago, had a mishap and hand a gear up landing after all else failed. I heard it put a huge wrench into the certification along with the honeywell issues.

Not sure if that is true and I can't seem to verify it, but the MA guys were telling me this the other day.
