December 2004
. The estimated number of primary lines has been included as a guideline only, as
the details of additional aircraft deliveries are not currently known. Crew positions for all
domiciles are filled utilizing your Permanent Bid File. All crewmembers are required to complete
and submit a Permanent Bid Preference Form. Updated bid preference forms will be accepted
prior to the bid closing date. The most current bid preference on file will be used to complete the
staffing requirements. Your bid should reflect your desired position in order of preference and
will be awarded based on your MAA seniority in the same manner as Perm Bid 04-01 (No
percentage bidding or relative position bidding)."

Base Equipment Position Total Positions/ Estimated Primary Lines
PIT E170 Captains 23 positions/16 lines
PIT E170 First Officers 23/ 16
PHL E170 Captains 85/ 45
PHL E170 First Officers 90 /45
DCA E170 Captains 29/ 7
DCA E170 First Officers 29/ 7
On the new senority list they show 301 total pilots of which the bottom 102 are from the WO carriers. If you add up the positions above you will see 279 flying positions between PHL/PIT/DCA. That leaves 22 positions which I assume are instructors/ck airman.
