All Mid Atlantic pilots will be furloughed May 31, 2006. The USAirways MEC states that the last revenue flight will be flown on May 28. There are currently 1,519 pilots on furlough from US. 300 of these are currently employed at MDA and other J4J participating carriers.

I thought the MDA pilots were going with the aircraft to RepubTaco or whatever it is called??

No offense, but for someone with such unabashed opinions on the U/AWA merger you sure don't seem to have a very good grasp of the facts regarding the goings-on at East.

Ya know, you're right! I'm more interested in the people above me on the list than the people below me.

An off-subject question: Wasn't Mid-Atlantic the name of a Caravan 135 operation in the 1990s?

I believe they were a Fed-Ex feeder. I remember seeing them in GSO in the early 90's

and to make matters worse for the former CEL guys I hear PDT and PSA are trying to get the ghost numbers reinstated again. Nice, our "brothers" wouldn't let us flow back (for whatever lame excuse it is this week) so atleast we got recall ahead of them. Now thats not good enough, they have to shift the truck into reverse and try to run us over again.

Sad part is,the real one doesn't have a clue,neither.....:( \
And by the way,its the AWA/U merger in case you haven't heard.

Not an AWA guy but,

The last list I have only has the furloughed USAir guys on it. You know the "Make sure your name and seniority number is correct" list before being sent to the merger crowd.

I do not know if the CEL or what ever the pseudo mainline MDA list is called now was included or not. All I got was the list that included the guys up to the April 2000 last class hired.

the list that the U mec refers too in this most recient update for the U guys does have the cel guys included without ghost numbers but it is a 2005 list. Guess they updated that list not the one that came out this past march although the 2005 list now looks like the one that just came out in 2006 from what I can tell. It will be interesting to see what they gave to the AWA side. Any AWA guys, can you help.
