Asia turns

I have heard that many of the casino GIVs do turns to Asia with two pilots. Fly down, sit with the plane 4 hours and fly back. $130K a year. Anyone out there fly like that out of LAS?

Mgm

I took a tour of their MD-88(?) one day at North Bend, OR. They had 8 Asian businessmen on board for a golf outing. They had picked them up somewhere in Asia and were flying them home a few days later. The crew told me the plane could do 15hr. legs. It was a four person crew: two pilots and two F/A's(!).

The crew was very cool and seemed happy w/ the operation.

Are casinos moving into Aisa?
Yes, PSYSICX, the QOL is great, the pay is great and they are anxiously awaiting your resume!

Don't worry if you don't have any flight time yet, the job will still be here when you build some time!

BTW, This is the standard response for any psysicx question!

Not really a schedule, they fly quite a bit. However they are home almost everynight. Pay isn't very good 50-60k range but I hear they are working on that. Pilots are all very happy though. Supposed to be a great place to work.

MD-80 was sold and a GV was bought in its place but the word around the campfire is that the GV is too small so they are looking into something bigger again. Like maybe a BBJ.
