Street captains can't be far behind. WTF???

Does said FO meet the upgrade requirements? But, WOW - this is much earlier than I had predicted!

At this point, I would trust my family flying XJ even with the low timers and quick upgrades. Keep up the good work guys!

Yup,

If you meet ATP minimums,
and you want an extremely quick Captain upgrade,
come to Mesaba now. The time is ripe.

Granted, there are plenty of FO's senior to this pilot. Some don't meet ATP mins. Maybe a couple are too young (<23), some are certainly waiting for MSP SF3 CA (can't be more than a few months for those types), and some are gambling (probably quite smartly) for the CRJ200 MSP CA slots.

What a difference 10 years makes. #3 F/O in DTW would only get you #38 in MSP back in the day. 3 years in the right seat and indefinite upgrades. 2500TT/350 multi and I was the low timer in my class!
