I will be trying to non-rev my dad out of HIB this week. Are all of your Saabs the B model with 34 seats? If it is the older model (30 seats?) how many folks can you carry with a full cargo compartment. I've had issues with that one before.
Thanks,
Dashtrash

We fly Saab A's, B's (Old ExpressI) and B+'s out of HIB. A's only hold 30 pax, and a pretty rare. The B's are the heaviest, and cause W&B issues when we have a high pax and bag count mixed with high fuel...but they hold 33 pax. B+'s hold 34.

I think HIB has three flights aday right now, and they do not share the flight with anyone else. This will help the situation.

What is the load load looking like? He has a pretty good chance out of HIB I think!

Hey DashTrash, did you grow up or used to live in HIB? I grew up in the pit (iron pit, that is) of the Range. Got my PVT there. Gotta love that nice 6700' runway!

Wanderer,

The first flight is booked 32 out of 34 and the second is 24 out of 34. He is the only non-rev listed so far that day. You guys only have 2 flights a day now. I wish you flew to Ely still. Thanks for your help!

What are your pax weights at Mesaba?

Tried to jump on the saab to the Fall's a while back and it was overweight, so I had to go to Duluth on NW and hitch a ride up to the Echo Trail. I sure miss the North Country!! I wonder how the commute would be from DLH-ORD??

By the way-How did you keep the pax weights down to 170/175?? At SKYW the weights are 190 and just killing the E-120!!

DLH-ORD would be a easy comute.(did it all last month and we were never full) And you don't have to worrie about the flight beeing canceled it's subsidized by the city. Although Eagle has been in and out of the DLH market. I think it was all sham to get the city to cough up money. Because if Eagle stops flying there NW has the market and the ticket prices go way up!
