Mesaba hiring?

any news on what Mesaba is doing these days?

Mesaba is doing some hiring, but not much. Just a handfull of people each month going to both aircraft types. Recommendations from current XJ pilots are a BIG help, and the majority who are called for interviews had resumes walked in.

Mesaba is essentially hiring only to cover attrition. We are flying the airplanes we have at max hours for mx requirements and are understaffed, but mgt won't bring on any more except to cover for the folks who jumped ship.

Good luck getting in here. Our growth is frozen for the forseeable future though.
