Just hired 15 flight instructors from a major flight school. At least one has been told that they'll go straight into the Avro.

Going straight to the Avro maynot be as good as it seem from the outside.

A. Pay is the same for FO's on the 34 seat Saab and 69 seat AVRO.
1st yr 23.08$
2edyr 28.22$

B. Schedules are better on the Saab.
C. You are seat locked for a couple years in what ever you get hired into.
D. When you eventually upgrade it will be in the Saab, The highest failure rate we have here is Avro FO's trying to Upgrade to Saab Capt.

However you dont get a choice of what you are hired into it just depends on what we need the day you interview. Getting the Avro is not anything to jump up and down about.

I agree. More hours and more days off per month for Saab pilots. For the same pay, you don't have to be from Minneapolis to be smart enough to figure out which seat is better to get hired into. Even dumb southerners can cipher that one out.

Yep. I know a couple of guys that just got hired and a few more that have interviews in the next week or two.
