at the rally, what was the fist pounding about? A fair contract? A contract ammendable in like two to three years? the one proposed is five years plus another 900 days of negotiations! And what was with the contract press release that stated it was similar to others in the industry? Has anyone else heard of another airline haveing one pay scale for 34 seat turbo prop and a 69 seat jet? i was thinking when they said comperable to COmair, i was not thinking that it was a ten thousand a year difference for second and third years FO I understand some of the deals they most likely made. After all it is Post 911 and their is most likely growth to be had. But, if i am going to pound my fists at a rally, and say we are holding the line for a certian standard! I would not cave in so easily.....were their negotiators so much better? Were our leadership scared? i want my job....but i also want to think of a new contract beofre 2011! At least use your head people!
