I heard from a friend that just came out of recurrent that there will be a 900 micro-base in LAX for a few months. It sounds like Delta is pulling the SLC stuff in LAX. Base maybe base. Put 3 planes out there one month, none the next, then 10 the next, none for 5 months...

While it's good to get more flying, I can't see the need for getting too excited just yet.

This sounds closer to reality. Similar to SLC last year. After all, we wouldn't want anyone getting comfy, would we?

You mean to say that 9E is getting big on the West Coast. The "New Mesaba" flies only props so if it's a Q400 or a Saab it's them. They fly the 900's until Pinnacle Corp takes them away.

Sounds VERY BIG indeed.
Haaahaaa, I'm looking at a pre-released sched, OO flying basically flying the same as they did last summer at the beginning months (1MAY11-08JUN11). Bringing back the LAX-LAS, PHX frequency and a new route LAX-SMF. XJ frequency still very very light out of LAX but increasing out of SLC but that compliments the OO increase out of MSP with the Crj7/9.
Schedule will be loaded into DLmatic March 26.
Damn, I wish XJ could have all of the SLC-SFO and LAX-SFO atc gdp prone flights all summer long. :laugh:
