In the CEO hotline message, JO indicates he will be announcing a new
partner this week. Any ideas as to who it will be? UAL? wouldn't
want to hook up with that disaster. AMR? scope doesn't seem to
allow it. CAL? they have xjt. NWAC? they have pinnacle and seem
intent on growing that.

Who else could it be? JBLU? LUV?

Any ideas because nothing really makes that much sense to me.

And

There is also rumors of renewing the old relationship to fly for Delta.

If the Dash thing is true why would UAL get Wiskey to give up the 328's and go deal will crap like Masa. This is one F'd up place anymore.

UAL did not make us give up the 328's, Fairchild/Dornier is bankrupt Ch 11, or 13 not sure. It's been UA's plan to get rid of them even before 9/11. With the bankruptcy, the judge released
AWAC from the long term lease.

I have heard recently that Fairchild/Dornier was bought out and is starting up the 328 production line again. Who knows what will happen.

what about the UAL board of directors saying that UAL should dismantle their LAX, DEN, and IAD hubs? Would Mesa still go to DEN if UAL wasn't big there?

Bye Bye--General Lee:confused: ;)

Just goes to show how desperate UAL are getting to cut a buck or two. MESA tried with UAL years ago, made it a mess and got canned. Thier completion rate with Frontier is rumored to be sub 50% and Frontier are possibly looking to pull the plug there also.

Hope the customer service people are ready for the lines of angry customers.

Still you get what you pay for I suppose.

What a crock of s#it! The truth is that Frontier just changed Mesa's contract from a pro-rate to cost plus to prevent Mesa from shutting down the operation and moving the planes to the U code share. They are also in talks with Mesa to increase the flying from 4 planes to 10. The completion factor is well over 90%. These are FACTS that you all can get by reading or lessening to the 1st quarter earnings conference with wallstreet. The numbers on the Mesa website. -Bean
