Trying to jumpseat from DEN to EGE in March. Looked on ALPA Jumpseat guide, and the way it was worded, kind of indicated that Mesa only allows cabin jumpseaters, no flight deck jumpseaters....

Any one know what the story is?

Mesa is cass and can allow cockpit jumpseaters. Be careful as weight restrictions sometimes come into play

Thanks- That is what I thought, but could not find it printed anywhere.

Does anyone know if the Dash 800 can take a full boat and Jump w/ no alternate from DEN to EGE?

I jumped both in and out of EGE. Crews are nice guys both ways. They really try to get you on. Had to be in the cockpit one leg. Good luck

Anyone got the Deets on Mesa JS?

With Mesa's terrible contract being a direct result of the Freedom A-listers, I wonder how they feel about Hojet pukes trying to ride with them? Those mountain airports can be awfully weight-restricted. It would be a shame if they couldn't get a hojet pilot a seat.....

How's all that bitterness working out for you?

Kinda sad to have to twist every Mesa-related post into a Hojet/A-list Btch-fest.

How did bending over for the a-listers work out for you?

A (most likely) hojet scumbag is asking for a ride. I hope a mesa crew going to eagle happens to see this thread. I hope they act appropriately.

I'm sure they will, by saying "Welcome aboard! You're gonna love the view up here."

Mesa crews are pros. And the Dash-8 guys at Mesa were always the coolest.

Mesa crews are pros.

Ha...funniest thing I've heard all day.

Yeah, they're pro's alright. Pro's at taking it up the arse, sleeping on planes, and apparently falling asleep while flying.

Sounds like they need people on their jumpseats to keep them awake.

Guys-
Not sure what all this Hojet/ A-List stuff is about, but since I am at ASA, I don't think you guys are talking about me.... I just want a ride, and if it doesn’t work out, I will make other arrangements.... I sure the pilots will be professional and accommodate me if possible... Professional courtesy to individual pilots should out way bad feelings toward companies... We are all in this together regardless of what our wings say.

Still waiting for more Deets.
