The city I live in isn't served by Mesa, and to the best of my knowledge they don't operate Dorniers, but yesterday I was taxiing to the active runway behind a 328 prop using the call sign "Air Shuttle". Are they buying up Air Wisky's or what gives?

Not us...

Wierd to hear that...sure there wasn't someone else around?

We do not operate 328's, nor are we even prepared to. Just spent last week at the training center for recurrent and not a peep about 328's.

Hope this helps...

It was a Dornier 328, no doubt. I have a confirmation from several other people, all pilots at the FBO, that it was a Dornier, and that they were using the call sign Air Shuttle. They departed KRAP and picked up IFR, but I missed to where.

We all make mistakes, just look at your Avatar. I'm sure that Tri-star Captain didn't purposely put that in his engine!
