I almost dont need to ask, but would a street captain on the dash be guaranteed a miserable existance(bad pay/schedual never hold a line), and a LONG wait to get into the jet?

dashes

There is now way that the pilot group would allow you to go to the jet as a street hire capt. FO's are currently stuck in the jet until they can upgrade in the jet. That is how they are getting streethire dash's and 1900s. Youve got fos locked in the right seat for 3-4 years while fo in the 1900 and dash are upgrading very quickly some in as little as 2 months.
The other two domiciles are grand junction and phoenix.

You would obviously be on the low end of the seniority in the aircraft unless they hired more people off the street behind you.

you will definitley be waiting a while for the jet (left seat) as everybody above you would probably have it bid.
