"Why does everyone here hate us?"

Can't wait to see that on the side of a CRJ.

Seriously a friend of mine doesn't want to accidently buy a ticket on them, so what are they called.

Dude, there's only going to be 4 inter-island carriers flying in Hawaii. If your friend can't figure out which one is Mesa, he shouldn't be flying or operating complex equipment.

And if you can't discern the difference between buying a ticket and flying the aircraft maybe you shouldn't either!!

ZING!

Look for a company operating an RJ in Hawaii. There will only be one. It isn't hard.

Ahh, feeling the love...

Assuming it will be USAirways Express operated by Mesa. I had heard that it would feed US Airways new flights between Hawaii and Phoenix. Whatever it is called it will have a sign by the door which will say "Operated by Mesa Airlines".

Also, it will be Mesa Air Group seniority list pilots flying on the Mesa Airlines operating certificate.

Unless JO has changed his tune significantly, the operation is going to be a "stand alone" scheduled interisland service operated under the MAG umbrella, but with outside investors involved. According to the latest article I have read, the pilots will be Mesa pilots who will soon be living in a van down by the river.

No,
but a lot of friends there.

Well you cant be ex-mesa. All the ex-mesa guys i know hate mesa. You must either be management or some kind of CFI or who hasnt had his stool pushed in all the way yet.

Hey you don't know me! Apparently you are an angry little man, and I am ex-mesa and completely neutral on them. They could be better and they could be worse. I will tell you, I hope they get crushed when they get out here. This is not their market and the pilots will be happier back on the mainland.
