Hi,

As a foreigner and green card holder, i was wondering if MESA is dealing with all the inconveniences the background check can bring (long process, can dlay ground school start.....) or just says "we'll call you later" at the end of the interview.

I've heard that a lot of regionals don't want to deal with foreigners and prefer hiring citizens, is Mesa the same or different.

Thanks for any info

cheers

American eagle won't even look at you.. That's for sure.

There are lots of green card holders at Mesa, they absolutely do not discriminate. They take a long time to do the check, but that's because the director of flight standard has tons of other things to do. It took 2 months for me, I heard of 1.5 months for some others. Overal they do a great job at getting you going.
