Mesa Air counter sues Atlantic Coast over bid


NEW YORK, Oct 29 (Reuters) - Mesa Air's <MESA.O> efforts to create the country's largest regional airline turned nastier on Wednesday as it sued takeover target Atlantic Coast Airlines Holdings Inc <ACAI.O> saying it was not allowing its shareholders to consider Mesa's approach.

Mesa Air's lawsuit, filed in the Court of Chancery of the State of Delaware, comes a day after Atlantic had sued Mesa accusing its executives for committing insider trading among other allegations.
