Not trying to start any new rumors but a little birdie tells me that Mesa has put out info that they are in the process of acquiring 40 aircraft with crews and to be integrated 3 to 1. I have not seen anything of this. Have you? And if they are, where are the planes/crews coming from?

Dorniers?

Bye Bye--General Lee

How many birds does Aloha have?
How many birds does PSA have?

...Might explain why Hitler is so motivated to get some NB rates established....
(rumor is that MAG MEC will push for Spirit rates)

How bout Air Wisconsin?????

40 a/c + crews

Our MEC met with JO two weeks ago. None of that but everyone else would probably know before us. We have a MEC teleconfernce call today at 2pm EST. I guess I can try to clarify another rumour.

Wait. You said Sun Country. Now you're saying Mesa? Pick a rumor and stay with it.

Besides, AQ doesn't have 40 aircraft. Unless you add a dozen Dash-8s.

40 airplanes coincides with the exact number of airplanes in NWA's new agreement to sign up a new Airlink..... Hmmmm.....

No need for more crews at YV, already furloughed 4.

Waaaiiiiittttt a minute. The four furloughed employees were cut becauseof a base closure in Florida in the Air Midwest System. Those pilotswere put in CRJ Ground. The 4 most junior pilots were pushed back untilthe next class and that should happen in late Feb. to early March. Itisbecause of a displacement not because of overstafing. This rumor hasbeen around at Mesa a while but I think that NWA is steering away fromMesa because of current contract disputes between management andemployes. JO is trying to extend our contract 2 years right now but wekeep rejecting it. Could be because NWA mgt. wants to see morestability at YV before they sign on the dotted line.
