Does anyone have any info on Meridian Air Charter out of teterboro? Looking for info on pay,benefits(medical,401k) scheduling(how many nights away from home per month on average) And how to apply? Are they a good company to work for? Thanks in advance for any info!

I've heard good things about Merdian in TEB. Can't comment on their operations. Word on the street is they are hiring for a Lear 45 coming on charter ($45,000 for Captain). Take this info for what its worth.

Meridian - Million Air

Meridian was Million Air charter, they just changed the name, nothing else. They have a Lear 35, a couple of Citations, (SII and another I think ) and a GIV as well as the Lear 45 which I think has arrived. They already have a captain for the 45, and no - not $45K a year, though they were looking for a co-pilot and the pay was in the $45K range. SIC was to be typed.

I have a couple of friends who have worked there for over two years, and they appear to be very happy. There is little turnover, they get their days off, including one hard 3 day weekend a month.

The pay is not top scale, but I know they are not worked into the ground either. As far as I know they ar enot hiring at the moment, ... but you never know in this business.

Not a bad place to hang your hat for a few years, if I lived in the NY/NJ area I'd be really happy to be working there.
