17 more than 15 for a total of 32...you need to hit the books.

On a side note...10 of the memory items at CHQ would be cause for an aborted takeoff per SOP for aborting for any EICAS message...and the response for the 10 are all "rejected takeoff procedure accomplish".

2 of the 32 are just silly...Overspeed-->airspeed below Vmo/Mmo and Stall-->attitude adjust, throttles full. If you don't know those yet you should leave and never look back.

I havent started training yet...wasnt tryin to be a smarta$$..just what all my buddies already on the airplane tell me...same guys who trained on the Saabs...why havent they made revisions and cut some of these down as theyve been flying the airplane for a number of years now? And why are there so many more on the 145 than the 170? Arent they extremely similar?

Aircraft Overspeed...................................REDUCE AIRSPEED

Our rejected takeoff on the Mexican Citation (E145) is:

Thrust levers - IDLE OR MAX REVERSE (Really? I need to throttle back to stop?)

Brakes - APPLY MAXIMUM (Ya think? Never would have occured to me!)

Directional control - MAINTAIN (But won't I stop sooner if I sink in the mud?)

we've got about a bazillion but the most important one is:
USA Today..................EMER STOW
Buttons (lit ones).........PUSH
FO.............................Confirm & AWAKEN (avoid coffee spill)
Memory Items..............SEE IF F/O KNOWS ANY

alcohol kit...................manual deploy
see abnormal 1-2 for kiss your ass goodbye procedure.

failure of one engine...
1. Cancel triple chime
2. Go back to reading the paper
gotta love 4 engines, til you get the fuel bill.

Nice, LOL.

It's been almost five years but I think it was something like this:

1. Fly the aircraft (B-727)
2. QRH

I love training to proficiency!!

As stupid as it sounds, it happens. I knew an air force guy that parked a jet in the base golf course after landing. The cause? The jet wouldn't stop. The reason? The throttles were nowhere near idle. Another stellar example of fine airmanship.
