I saw that on the news last night; 5 thoughts.

.) I thought it funny they included the mins for Big Sky and not Compass another hometown airline. However the Compass mins right now would have taken away from their point slightly. Then again they probably don't even know Compass exists.

.) Apparently Pinnacle fooled them into believing that 1000 hours is the actual MINIMUM there. Heck, even the 650 at Mesaba. We all know there's a few 400 hour wonders floating around both of those places.

.) How convenient that no flight time summaries were provided for the crews other than that of the Flagship accident. Perhaps "inexperience" wasn't the root of the cause in the regional accidents to begin with. I hardly believe the Comair accident was attributable to experience levels.

.) There's a Minnesota Pilot's Union!!?? How come I don't belong?

.) Media. *shaking head* Let's shape the story to fit the facts, not vice versa.
