I think it is God's way of punishing your Mgt for the crappy way the facilities are in MEM.

Ah, yes. 142XJ (aka Frankenstein). Good times.

Maybe management's idea of building with tinker toys to save money is not working out.

On an XJ hangar note I heard that Mesaba-Compass Holdings is acquiring the former Champion Air hangar at MSP.

I think to call the former Champion structure a "hangar" is not quite right. It's more like a 500-person Coleman tent from Target.

At this point, I'm surprised if the MAC would even let Mesaba get anywhere near a hangar. Our 10-year rental history report leaves a lot to be desired.

Well, I'm sure it's still more money than just deflating the "hangar". Who the heck else is going to want it/use the land. Petters!? Maybe it'll end up as a furloughee rescue center.

I also heard they're tearing down the hangars south of the G-concourse to make way for some kind of hotel at MSP. I'm sure its public knowledge, I'm just too lazy to look right now.
