I cant remember the ratio of mix but we used to bulk mix it in our av gas tank to run in radial engine ag planes. The red gas you guys were talking about would be way too much. I also never once saw any yellow goop in any of our tanks. I don't know how much it helped, but I don't think it hurts.

Have used it for thirty-five years mixed in the avgas and sometimes the oil of low compression aircraft engines from the Continental A-65 to the Pratt and Whitney R-1340. Have had no negetive results in that time. Seems to keep the valves quieter and noticeably helps with the problem of sticky valves in engines that were not designed to run on 100LL avgas but have to now. I have always mixed it in the avgas at the recomended ratio on the can, which is 4 ounces per 10 gallons of gasoline.

One caution, though; use of Marvel Mystry Oil or any other unapproved fuel or oil additive would void any warrenty on a new or overhauled engine from the manufactuer or quite likely most overhaul shops.
