The one who is advertising for an "entry level first officer" is probably Black and Decker. The seem to go through a lot of pilots.

Could be you are on an hour call out 7 days a week, or the fact that you "learn the aircraft from the book" before you go to any type of Sim training. I thought that it was odd that they don't send you to Flight Safety first but what do I know.

I flew for an outfit that trained just like that. I ended up leaving after 5 months. I would advise running from an outfit like that, unless of course you like money for not being taken seriously as a pilot.

Do you mind if I ask where you're getting your info from because I'm getting a different perspective about the company from another source. I'm not asking for a name but a general source like "a friend works there or My neighbor etc"

I'm just wanting to know so I can decide if I want to drop them a resume or not.

Thanks in advance

That all came out of their CP's mouth when I interviewed there in last year or so. I forget the fellows name, seemed like a real nice guy. I would drop them a resume anyway. I wasn't typed in either of their A/C but they called me in. It could have been EEOC thing or a "we have to interview X number of people" thing. I have no idea.
