I watched the Discovery Wings seaplane show last night and they showed the canadian, water-bombing, Martin Mars.

I've seen part of the show before, therefore it is not current. This makes me wonder.

Are the Mars still flying? Have they finally been retired? If so, are the in a museum?

I hope that they still fly, but a good thing can't last forever.

Avbug?

Nice Chemtrails!

Considering that the Mars was designed more than sixty years ago, with the first ones delivered about 1945, it's amazing that the two remaining ones are still flying. Here is another informative Mars website.

There was a great article about the Mars in Air Classics magazine about twenty years ago.

Nice topic.
