Anyone have any info as to the status of the Marine Reserve Instructor Pilot program for the Naval Training Commands? It apparently is something that has been tentatively in place for about a year. Any word as to if it will become a permanent institution?

The program is on track and expanding. They are now including 48 drills in addition to ADSW but the big thing is a fundamental shift in the structure of the Marine reserves. I wrote the thesis that became MARADMIN 006/02 and kicked off this whole thing 2 years ago while I was at HMM-774 --- you might say I was rather unpopular with 4th MAW...... :) Send me an e-mail and I will update you with the latest (some stuff just came out a few days ago.)
