MG and GE, you two were very professional in some of your questions and comments regarding the union drive at Skywest. Many people on this board gave you facts and information about alpa representation that lasted for couple of weeks and the benefits of alpa. YOu two were very responsive in your comments and made the comment that you will wait till the end to make a decision.

What was your decision since the vote ends tomorrow morning?

Pookie,

How do you think the vote will end up?
On that exit poll, with only 1/7th of the people who voted, In favor is 59%.
Huge probability margin of error since 6/7th of the 2801 pilots have not indicated which way they voted in that exit poll.

Objectively, I bet the drive will fail 40/60, give or take 5%.

I'm hoping I am wrong.

Haven't voted yet, but I will. I'm leaning yes, mostly because I am evenly split on the issue and don't want to be an obstructionist to those who truly want representation. I also have to make sure I soul search as much as I can so I don't sell out my own principles. I guess we'll find out at 12:01pm MST tomorrow.

Hopefully, whatever happens, we can move on as a pilot group and with or without ALPA work to raise the bar. I'm confident we can do that either way.

tick, tock...........
