Talked to several former Colgan pilots today. They are all now at Airtrain, SWA, CAL. All of them had the same theme, they're glad we are having a vote at Colgan. A few of these guys got in got their time and got out and still think we need a union, and said they'd be a Yes if they were here still (good for them they are not).

All the former guys seem to think it's a good thing, they've seen union vs. non union. I think i'm gonna take their advice.

That's true. Pretty much anywhere our pilots go after Colgan is unionized. They all tell me how great it is to have set work rules, a legally binding contract with a grievance procedure and a company that treats them like the professionals they are.

Vote Yes!

I will never, ever work for any airline that does not have a union. Airlines have too much control over your quality of life, and too much power to wreck your career without the influence of a union to counter these influences!

-Vote Yes!

After seeing what I have seen now, that will weigh heavily in my decision for the next place I go.
