magazine article on USAF A-37's in Honduras???

I was told that this past summer june/july that one of the military aircraft type magazines did an article on USAF/ANG A-37’s operated in Honduras.

Did any of you guys see this? I’d like to see what they wrote if I can get a hold of it. Any help would be appreciated.

I’ve done an internet search on some of the magazines like Flight Journal or Air Combat but to no luck. I know it was not Av Week or one of the civ mags like Pro Pilot/AOPA/AIN as I receive them. Are there any other mags I should search under?

The person that told me of the article said he read it in one of the mil flight mags that is on the shelf at Borders Books if that helps.

Thanks

The Honduran Air Force operates 10-12 A-37 Dragonflies out of San Pedro Sula. All pilots are Honduran AF - some went thru USAF UPT back in the 80s. Now all HAF pilots are trained in country at the Honduran AF Academy @ Soto Cano (sp?)

HAF operates 10-12 F-5E/F Tigers out of La Cieba

HAF operates IA-101 Arrava & C-130 out of Tegucigalpa

Thanks but this article referanced (or atleast was told it did) ANG/USAF guys flying the A-37 down there. This is what I looking for.

Thanks

I go down there every few weeks. San Pedro Sula has a beautiful approach into the valley. Last time I went in there it was to mins and the A-37's weren't flying. I like the old F-86's on the ramp. Too bad they are rotting. Let me know if you want some pictures of the planes. Next time I am there I will post them here. Also, I have not heard any US boys on the radio when they go up in the morning.

You might be confusing the A-37 with ex-mil guys flying OV-10's doing coca eradication.

thanks but is nothing to due with present time. The info I'm looking for is for the mid 80's. 1983 to 1986 ish.
Ok. Sorry, didn't see that specified. Try Scramble! magazine. You can email them here:

http://www.scramble.nl/

Go to shop, then go to the back issues all the way at the bottom. (pics of T-34's nearby) Then hit "Order/More info...." button. At the bottom of the "Prices" section there is a "message" link to an email address. The email is:

Ask away. If the wrote the article, they can help you. They are very nice.....
