How many Embraers does Mesa still have flying out of CLT? Are those planned to go to F8, or are they remaining in Airways colors for a while?

Heard that all Mesa flying will be out of the East by the end of spring! Hope it's true!

What do you mean by "Mesa flying?" Are you talking Airways flying? Because Mesa's East bases in IAD, MCO arn't going anywhere, plus all the new Delta Dash bases in the east.
The ERJ's are out of Airways in May. Unfortunally for you, the CRJ900s arn't going anywhere. They will be in CLT for at least the rest of this yr. (until they can get the EMB190s on line). Even then, everything is up in the air. Sorry to burst your bubble and your rumor. -Bean

I meant Airways flying. It's unfortunate these mesa pieces of sh*t will still be around.

You sound like a CA I flew a trip with awhile ago. He flipped the bird to every single MAG aircraft that taxied by.

I don't think I've been more embarassed EVER by another person (in this job at least)...

Parker wants to get rid of most if not all contract carriers in the future! Since Mesa has set the standard on pay for large jet RJ's (33 bucks an hour to fly a 86 Seat Aircraft) now mainline can fly the 190's at a cheaper rate and no there will be now need for them anymore. Seems Mesa is gonna price themselves right out of existance!

I believ Wsurf is right, we can only hope! Good luck in the Bern Billy with the realingment

Why do you give mesa guys greive?? They are the same as you.. Trying to make a living.. They took a job, and if it be with mesa, then forgive them. They have the same goals as you do.. They took a job, take it or leave it, to build time. Does that make you better than them??? NO Just because their CEO makes bad decisions, doesn't mean you should be hateful to them. I am so disappointer to see fellow pilots talk about other pilots. You are all in the same job.. And are doing this because you love it.. Back off. And just deal with it.. If they could do something about their contract or pay or WHATEVER they would. If you are happy where you are then don't bother them. They are just normal guys trying to do what they love and get grieve for it.. Give them a break and worry about your life and your job.. You are all in the same job and deserve the same thanks for doing what you do.. No matter what you get paid.. It is all the same. The industry stinks as it is, so who can REALLY bring it down.. Just take the time to be happy for what you do and where you are at... And just how lucky you are in LIFE....Don't mean to preach, but some people on here need a little reality check.. You are a pilot and not living on the street, be glad you have a job and somewhere to live.. Just think you could be doing something you HATE, like working at Mc D's... Just think about it for a little bit.. And be HAPPY :)

Yeah, they took a job. They have to deal with having an entire industry laugh at their (your?) arses for accepting a dung sammitch with a toothy smile.

Doesn't mean I have to respect them, which I don't and never will. I give MESA guys (not men, mind you) grief because they're twats. Ask me about de-rotating a 900 and worrying about smacking the ground too hard, and I'll say a $100K/yr pilot for AirTran knows the answer. Punks.

How is that embarassing? Mesa's pilot contract is what is embarassing.

They could have!!!! However 87% of them thought that the pay and work rules were very good! You must be a newb in this industry, don't worry however the flightinfo school of learning will enlighten you!

Mesa has a contract with the "New" Airways or old AWA to fly the 900's till 2014......

41 of them to be exact.

It will cost Airways a lot of cash to break that contract.

Would Piedmont retire the Dash by then? I say not.

No, we'll be flying our worn out Dashes well past that.

Well, I did say they wanted to get rid of most of the Contract flying! They are probably stuck with the 41 for awhile. But contracts can be renegotiated, plus when get the 190's and figure in the long run it will save to just pay Mesa off, well then they might do that. Especially when they look at there service and reliability!

Next time you are at work look in SABRE and you will see Mesa EMB-145s scheduled well into August and September.

Look specifically at cities like CAE, PHF, LEX, MOB.

Typical PDT quote... where do you hear stuff like this?

I have heard you guys saying stuff like this since the days of the old Philly trailer.

Whatcha gonna do, Talk-o, deny boarding to a must ride? I'd tip you 5 bucks if you did it to me. Go on another flight, still beat the original DH WSCOD, and have a GREAT story to tell the Chief.

My point is you and the other guy don't have the balls to say things like this to our guy's faces. True or false? Prove me wrong -- stop by E1 (seems to be our gate) and introduce yourself. Maybe I'll be there tomorrow.
