Guys,

Anyone at or know much about the F-16 Unit in Madison, the KC-135 Unit in Milwaukee or the C-130 Unit in Milwaukee? I'm a local Wisconsin boy flying for a local Wisconsin regional who would like to find out more about these units. I'm trying to do my homework and hopefully will try to get in any one of them at some point. I just turned 25 so I don't have loads of time before the point where it's to late and I'll always regret at least not giving it a shot. I do have a genuine desire but I've just never gotten the ball rolling yet.

Any advice or contacts you can give me would be much appreciated. Thanks Everyone!

At your age, the biggest consideration is going to be your degree. If you don't have one, the reserves won't be able to do anything for you. Eyesight is still a big deal, I think you must be 20/70 or better and correctable to 20/20. Both of these are show stoppers, in most cases, for the reserves. The guard units may be different.
The Milwaukee C-130 unit is currently activated and I would guess they will have some openings, once they get released. Again that's something the unit would be able to tell you.
The only way to get your foot in the door is to give them a call. With all of your civilian time and ratings, you are definitely a good candidate, local also helps. I've heard of guys getting hired with a lot less.
