MAC question

Just wondering if there's any hiring expected in the next few months- ATR, Van, or Fokker.

Still flying F-27s outta Curitiba?

Finally saw a MAC/fedex ATR on the line in colors. In Nashville. They look pretty at least! New paint, nicer that the average F27 with tired paint.

Yes

Yes they are hiring as far as I've heard. Many F/O's going on to shiney jets. Still flying F-27 although ATR's are coming online now. I think there are 5 or 6 ATR's now. More too come. Fun gig, I like the Darts.

And yes we're still flying over Curitiba although today the weather totally sucks over Uruguay. Bumps and more bumps for 100+ miles. Big fun.

Yeah, alot of guys get the shiney-jet bug after a while. As for me, I've done some pax flying in the past but I'm really the cargo type. A complete nightowl- love the night flying/day sleeping routine. Also, not having to deal with drunk passengers, TSA, and delays at La Guardia.

The Darts ARE cool- although my only experience with them was on a Convair and that was a while back. Bloody loud, but cool.

I'd like to fly one of those purple and white mother Fokkers, or ATRs one of these days. Meanwhile, just waiting for the call from MAC.
