A little. They fly Herc's (L-382's) around the world. I think some guys are based in Anchorage and fly around the state, but others commercial to Japan and fly around there, or to Europe. I think they occasionally do stuff for Detroit hauling machines and parts. I understand the pay isn't the world's greatest, takes about 6-7 years to break $100/hr as a Captain, but they pay good bonuses. You keep your frequent flyer miles as well.
One of our pilots interviewed with the in the last couple of weeks. He indicated they like AK time, and Herc expierance. It seems that many of their pilots are in the Anchorage 130 guard wing.
I don't fly for Lynden, but live near ANC. I have looked into there operation, they fly the Alaska Bush and do trips to different locations in the world.
I beleive the Herc is the only plane they operate, everytime I am in ANC and look over to there buiding, N403LC is the only plae I have seen here.
