Hey all, I figured the GA thread was the best place to put this since it doesn't really fall into any other of the threads.

I live in the Cincinnati area and am looking for some intel on places that rent planes, either singles or twins. I know that twins are hard to come by in the area, and while I do know of two that are available I wouldn't touch them with a 10 meter cattleprod. And yes, for an ex freight dawg to refuse to fly a particular plane, it's GOT to be garbage.

I've also heard rumors that a SR22 and a Diamond Twinstar might be coming available in the area. Any truth?

Thanks for any info.

I'm a little out of the loop now that I live in CMH, but try HAO - ProAero (www.proaero.com) . I think they rent 172's & Arrows. Had a couple friends who used to work there...seems like a good place. Blue Ash Airport also has a small FBO that rents 172's (I think). Also, try Eastern Cincinnati Aviation (http://www.flyeca.com/eca/) at Clermont Co. (I69). They're tied in with Sporty's and rent 152's & 172's. They're pretty nice - I flew a few times there for a rental checkout. They have an Aztec as well but I don't know if it's rented out. Good Luck!
