Lufthansa to reveal planned partnership with US' NetJets - report

[size=-1]FRANKFURT (AFX) - Deutsche Lufthansa AG (Xetra: 823212.DE - news) is set to reveal within the next few
weeks plans to form a partnership with US private jet company NetJets,
Handelsblatt newspaper said in a report to be published tomorrow, without citing its sources.
A Lufthansa spokesman confirmed talks have been going on for some time with
several business airplane companies, the newspaper said.
'We are looking at the details of the concept. But there has been no
decision yet,' the spokesman said.
Mark Booth, head of NetJets' European operations, said a cooperation with
Lufthansa would be 'very sensible'.
NetJets -- which is owned by US tycoon Warren Buffet -- hopes to boost its
customer base in Europe to 1,000 from 600 by the end of 2005.

So I guess this explains the New Leather Jackets we are going to be issued, please tell me we won’t be wearing those stupid bus driver hats?

O by the way, ID 90’s should be issued for our travel needs, right?

I've read about that a couple of weeks ago in a german newspaper, where did you get that clipping from? Was it just recently?

Anyways, it makes a lot of sense for Lufthansa, since they need to fill their trans-atlantic or trans-con with people who can't afford a C-X or G-IV but can afford an Ultra share plus a first class ticket to their destination. Sounds like a win-win for Lufthansa and NJE.
