Just was wondering if there was anyone out there stationed at Loring in the '80's? I was a B-52G Crew Chief from '85-'89.

Hey,

I was at Loring from 86 to 89. I warked at supply, and had a part time job lifeguarding at the base pool. You probably knew Greg Johnson. (He's the only guy I remember from OMS other than Terry Pendergast.[I met your first shirt once, but can't remeber his name.]) There's one other guy on the board here, if memory serves me correctly he was a NAV over at the 69th. Ahhh...breakfast at the Dahlgren Dining Facility, and pizza and beer at the 'vouz'.

Drop me a PM brother!

Yep, I was a nav in the 69th.

I fly Lear 45's now for Flexjet. Furloughed from AA three years ago.
I was in Moose country from 85-88.

Cheers.

Memories

Hey Lear,

Wow, A lot of memories there. I remember Greg Johnson, I flew with him a couple of times in c-152's at Caribou. I heard he went to ots and flunked out 'cuz he couldn't keep his mouth shut. Terry Pendergrast was our first shirt for a while (one of the many). I remember how bad it sucked working outside on the line in the winter up there, But looking back, those were pretty good times.
